It is the desire of my heart that you and I, with each and every breath we take, will . . . . .
"Love the Lord with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and with all our strength" (Mark 12:30).
In God's Word, He instructs His true worshipers with the following words ...
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him (John 4:23 KJV).
This command is the very mandate, given by God, to this ministry, that mandate being, we are called of God, to follow His Truth, by the power of His Holy Spirit, thus fulfilling His command, that ... from deep within our hearts, we shall live our lives, daily, as an act of worship unto Him . . .(John 4:23-24).
I'd now like to take a moment to say, if you've not yet come to know Jesus Christ, through a personal relationship with Him, and are desiring to do so, perhaps I can be of help. Please know, meeting Jesus in a personal way is not difficult. All that's required is a heart that is fully sincere, and a personal recognition that you need Him in your life. So, you might be asking yourself ..."Why do I need Jesus"? Perhaps I can help you with this question, as well. You see, we all need Jesus as our Savior, because it's through His sacrifice (death) on the Cross of Calvary, and His resurrection from the tomb, that we are saved (saved from the very destruction of our own sin nature). The Word of God tells us there is only "one way" to enter into a relationship with our Heavenly Father, and to experience the promise of salvation and eternal life, and, that "one way" is found through accepting Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, into our hearts.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
So, you may be asking yourself "Just what must I do to accept Him"? Perhaps I can help in this area, as well. To "accept" Jesus Christ into your heart, means, you must recognize your need of Him as your Savior. You see, according to God's Word, we were all born into sin, meaning, we are sinners, in need of a Savior (Jesus Christ), who "sinned not" (a Holy, Pure, Unstained, Sacrifice), that we might be saved from our sins, through His perfect and complete sacrifice, on the Cross. As you learn about, and grow in your understanding of Jesus, through God's Holy Word, you'll discover Jesus lived a pure and sinless life (required by God), and, that through the sacrifice of His life, we might spend life "forever" living in His very presence, by His resurrection power. That "forever" begins when you release the care of your heart over to Jesus.
Once you have done so, there is much you will learn about Jesus, but for now, in order for you to receive Jesus as your Savior, there are but a few things you need to understand. You need to understand, each of us falls short of a sin free life, and that, we need Jesus as our Savior, and that lastly, to meet Him in a personal way, can be as simple as a "sincere prayer from your heart". If you're unsure of how to pray such a prayer, I'd be honored to help you do so. Please understand, prayer isn't some special formula. Rather, it is simply "talking with Jesus", just as you would talk with a friend. He truly is that personal. So, let's talk with Jesus from the very depth of our hearts:
Dear Jesus, I need You. I've been living my life on my own, and it's just not working. I continue to fall short of living the life I'd really like to live, a life which is not controlled by sin, but rather, a life that is pleasing to You ... a life with You in control, helping me every step of the way. I recognize that I am a sinner, in need of a Savior, and I ask, Jesus, that You will forgive me of all my sin against You. I open the door of my heart to You, and invite You to come in, asking You to cleanse my heart, of all unrighteousness and, to make me whole. Jesus, I also ask that, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, You will help me live every day of my life, loving, serving, and pleasing You. Thank You, Jesus, for forgiving me, and for giving Your life for me. Truly, You died, that I might live! Be my Savior and Lord, I pray, in Your Wonderful Name Jesus, Amen.
Now that you have reached out to Jesus, continue to do so, each and every day. You see, just as you gave your heart to Jesus, He desires to give His heart to you. This is a true, one on one friendship! It's important that you get yourself an . . . . .
Authorized King James Bible.
Another Bible, I appreciate, and find to be very helpful in giving me an understanding of God's message to me, is the Amplified Bible, which opens up both the Hebrew and Greek understanding of God's Word, into English, again, giving me the understanding of the fuller meaning of God's message to me. I have used both the Authorized KJV and the Amplified Bible for my Bible studies, throughout many years, and do recommend either (or both) Bibles to you. It's most important to read your Bible, and pray (talk to Jesus). Get to know Him. Allow Him to get to know you. He truly is a Friend that can be fully trusted!
Again, if you would like to contact me, please feel free to do so, using the Contact Form (below). I'd love to hear from you, and, I'll do my very best to answer you promptly.
Whether you've been in fellowship with Jesus for many years, or, you're a brand new believer, it's my desire, through the study of God's Word, to guide you into continual rich treasures, just waiting to be found.
As we walk together, discovering "Gods" promises, and, as we enter into a lasting, rich and meaningful relationship with Him, may each of us become the very friend, and servant to Jesus, He so desires us to be. Together, as we call on God, and study His Word, we will learn of, and experience, His great love towards each of us. As we continue down the path of growth, in His Truth, and come into an even greater understanding of Who He truly is, we shall then experience His never ending promises to us ... promises given to all of those who believe.
May you be richly blessed!
